MN Sn’Ice: Because in Minnesota, Snow & Ice are so nice!

2022 will bring even bigger and better plans for King Isbit’s Royal Courtyard, Palatial Playground, Ice Sculptures and Snow Sculptures. The Building Committee and local artist, Hans Gilsdorf, have created an experience that just gets bigger, wider, and more amazing lighting every year!.

The daylight brings the opportunity to inspect the craftsmanship and fine details but the nighttime brings the spectacular! We encourage you to plan multiple visits to for a full experience!

The Grand Lighting will take place on Friday, February 11th at 7pm. The lighting will coincide with the kickoff to Detroit Lakes Polar Fest

Polar Fest begins February 11th and runs through February 27th, 2022. There are many activities taking place during Polar Fest, and we encourage you to check it out and learn more about Polar Fest!
